Blackness
Content warning: Racial Violence
Buried in blood, the black body lies
Black souls shoot black guns through two big black eyes.
Black ties, with black lace, the black mother cries, over the black body in the black coffin under the grieving black sky.
Burning hate for the black man in beady blue eyes. blood sucking bugs, it’s their time to dine.
white hands from the white man try to stall black progress, block black progress, kill black progress
stop betterment of blackness the benefit of blackness, while the black mans distracted,
with feeding his family, with leading his family with keeping his family, alive alive he strives for life better than the block better than his pops better than life on a prison block
He tries for greatness, he’ll die for greatness and with his black skin, hell die tryna make it, hell die tryna save it, a man in the making, a world for the taking and he’s tryna take it.
18 he was fresh out, cold eyes, cold lies he was stressed out he knew their tricks, he knew their game they said they prayed for his suffering and pain,
behind those smiles disdain he saw, behind the badges no loyalty for law, only loyal for the power that they sought, only loyal to the system that they brought.
Brought upon the black girls and boys, brought to only silence black voice, the black vote, the black song, the black might, the black body puts up a damn good fight,
and so they hung the fighting blackness compressed the lungs of fighting blackness, but prevail the black body does, fight tooth and nail the black body must.
And After all the black bloodied brothers, the black bloodied children and the black bloodied mothers, the white hand still makes black bodies suffer, the white man still sees no black bloody struggle.
