Pegasus About Info
What?

Pegasus is the club (and class!) tasked with developing and publishing the Pegasus Creative Arts Magazine. We accept submissions of all mediums from the populace of the high school, and publish them to both our website, and our annual copy of Pegasus.

If you join the club, you might find yourself:

Making pages in Adobe InDesign

Editing written submissions

Making Posters

Updating our website

Or any other of our myriad tasks.

Why?

Pegasus exists to represent the artists of MIHS, and to advocate for them to get the acknowledgement and recognition they deserve, as well as a way for interested students to develop their professional skills and work on a long-term creative project.

Who?

Pegasus is best suited for people or are interested in developing professional communication skills, building familiarity with Adobe products, learning how to edit others' written works, and navigate a large team environment. No experience necessary- just come curious and interested!

Where?

Pegasus meets immediately after school every Monday in the library. These meetings last until 4:00-4:30.

The Class

If you want to help create Pegasus, you can also enroll in the Crest Creative Writing Class! It is taught by the advisor of the club, Carrie Thompson. In it you will refine your literary craft, and help create Pegasus.
