I am a child of Earth, born to roam
with wings of black; unbound, I call her home.
A beacon of kindness, a light through the night
for those who wander lost, seeking sight.
In shadows, I glimpse the long-departed souls,
spirits between worlds where time unrolls.
Some linger in sorrow with tales left untold
while others keep watch, their love manifold.
Yet lurking in silence, dark demons conspire,
feeding on fear, consuming our fire.
I speak to the lost, I bear their sweet plea
to help them find peace, to set their souls free.
Here I stand witness to God’s grand design,
to triumphs and failures that tread through the line.
Two genders created, yet greed leads astray
with men sometimes blind to the roles that they play.
Women, the givers, they carry the weight
in nurturing light, they help us create.
God meant for us all to grow and to change,
to cherish each moment, not to live estranged.
To feel all the emotions both dark and divine,
yet still we destroy, as if crossing a line.
The Earth cries in anger with storms and with fire
reminding us softly of the truth we conspire.
If we do not listen to Nature’s call,
we risk our own ruin, we threaten our all.
So let us awaken, unite in our fight
to honor this world, to walk in the light.
